If you’re feeling sore, tight, and inflexible and haven’t exercised in a while, here’s how to get started:

Massage therapy

Begin with a massage to relax those super tight muscles. This will help unwind some tension before we focus on strengthening them and the supporting structures.

Intro offer

If you can’t find a convenient time for a massage with Dave, start by purchasing our intro offer. Try a mat class to see where your body is at. If you feel comfortable, you can then explore our Reformer or Mixed Equipment classes, which include the Pilates Chair, Wall Tower, and weights for added variety.

Class exploration

After trying different class types, you’ll have a better idea of what suits you best. We can then discuss purchasing a 10-pack for your preferred class type structures.

Beginners welcome!

If you’re new to Pilates, you’re in the right place! Here’s how to get started:

1. Start with the intro offer: 

We recommend beginning with a mat class before progressing to equipment classes.

2. Arrive early: 

For equipment classes, please arrive 10 minutes early. We’ll help you get settled, show you around, and explain the equipment.

3. Gradual progression: 

We’ll take it slow initially, with plenty of guidance along the way. It might feel strange and uncoordinated at first, but you’ll get the hang of it quickly. Our small class sizes ensure personalised support and encouragement as you explore what your body can do.

Prior pilates experience?

For those with Pilates experience, our classes will meet your needs:

Layered challenges

We teach by gradually adding challenges. You’ll work until you feel challenged but not in pain, maintaining form through difficult reps.

Variety of props

We offer small props like balls for unstable surfaces, weights, and adjustable spring tensions on the large equipment to make your practice as challenging as you need.

What to bring

Grip Socks: Available for purchase in the studio.

Comfortable Clothes: Wear something you can move freely in.

1. Class Selection: Choose between mat or equipment-based classes.

2. Session Pack: We’ll set you up with a 10-session pack and a regular booking to ensure you never miss a class.

3. Preventative Massage: Book ahead for preventative massage treatments to keep your muscles in top condition, ready for the strengthening provided in our Pilates sessions.
