FAQs

  • For casual bookings or massage services, simply use our booking system, Powerdiary client portal https://clientportal.powerdiary.com/clientportal/propelbody. Select the service you need and your desired time. If it’s your first time using the system, you’ll be prompted to create a login, which you’ll use for all future bookings.

For intro offers or 10-session packs, click the link on our website to send a partially filled email to our account. We’ll invoice you and contact you to arrange your preferred sessions. You can check our booking system here

  • Propel Body has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations within this time frame or no-shows for a class or massage appointment will result in the loss of the session/appointment and incur the full cost. If you booked a massage appointment online, the charge will be applied to your nominated credit card.

We understand that life can get busy and unexpected events happen. To keep things fair for everyone and ensure all clients have access to appointments/classes, we send reminder emails at least 48 hours before your appointment and a reminder text the day before. This provides ample opportunity to cancel if necessary, allowing others on the waitlist to attend.

  • When booking a Pilates session, you’ll receive a client intake form via email. Please fill it out thoroughly, noting any old injuries as well. We carefully review these forms to ensure safe practice and provide modifications if needed. If your injury is of concern, your instructor will contact you before your class.

For massage appointments, the intake form will be completed during your initial consultation, so there’s no need to arrive early. If you have any fresh injuries or surgeries that may affect your ability to receive a massage, please reach out to dave@propelbody.com.au before booking.

  • Firstly, congratulations on this exciting time in your life!

Pregnancy: If your pregnancy is generally uncomplicated, continuing to exercise is highly beneficial. Pilates is a wonderful form of movement that can be continued up to birth with modifications as needed. Alisha, a pregnancy and postnatal corrective exercise specialist, will ensure you are in safe hands. You can attend all classes with additional props to enhance your comfort.

Postnatal: When you can resume exercise postnatally depends on various factors. Follow the guidance of your care team, including your doctor and any specialists involved in your birth aftercare. Once you have approval to safely resume exercise, please contact alisha@propelbody.com.au to discuss the best way forward for you and your goals.

  • Feel free to take photos before and after your session and tag us @propelbody. However, during the session, all belongings, including phones, should be placed in the cube storage cabinet. Phones should be on silent or off to ensure you are fully focused on your Pilates practice.
